Are You Linked?
A
review of Settlor Web sites revealed that only 27 are
presently hyperlinked to FTJs Web site. You're spending a
lot of time and effort to get your members to go to your site,
and, once they are there, they should have access to all the
benefits of membership including the valuable insurance plans
from TIE!
Please take some time to visit
and familiarize yourself with our expanded World Wide Web
site. Below you'll find |
several
URL addresses that would be beneficial to your members.
If you have any
questions or comments about the Web site and how it could
serve you better or would like additional URL addresses to set
up a link, feel free to contact our Web Site Developer,
Shannon Stone, at sstone@ftj.com
in Kansas City, Mo.

All Coverage Brochures
The all coverage brochures (ACB) for TIE
associations were recently printed and should be arriving to you
soon. The ACB still generates more requests for information
regarding the TIE program than any other device we use. It is,
therefore, vitally important that you alert members to this valuable
member benefit by distributing the brochures at least once a year
and including them in your new member welcome kits. |
You also might
consider putting a request button in the Members Only section of your Web
site so that members
may get an ACB when the need arises. Or, create a hyperlink
to FTJs Web site, www.ftj.com,
so members can see the product descriptions,
access applications and request additional information immediately online! |

New Student Professional Liability Rate Announced
Those Settlors who have a large number of student
members or who want to grow this segment will be pleased to
learn that as of Sept. 1, 2001, student members will be able to
purchase an individual $1 million policy for an annual premium of only
$12. The policy is the same as that offered to regular members
but does not include job protection benefits. |
This very competitive
enhancement is being announced now so that Settlors will have time
to include the benefit in their Fall marketing campaigns. So let
your marketing gurus know immediately. If you have questions, call
Fred Wheeler at (703) 318-8189 for more information. |

her house June 18, 2001. The topics discussed included the
upcoming meeting in Pittsburgh and updates on plan performance during
the year. Also suggested was a Settlor-only section within FTJs Web

use in their newsletters, and information exchanges between Settlors.
More details will be provided at the Annual Meeting in September.
