As group insurance administrator  for the Johnson County Bar Association (JCBA), FTJ provides quality life and health care plans for JCBA members. Listed below is an overview of the plans available.

Solo major medical insurance is available to all members and their staff. All applications for coverage are individually underwritten and there are no participation requirements. There are several plans from which to choose, additional optional coverage with each plan design, such as maternity, accident  medical expense and medical savings accounts, and the plans have competitive rates.

Small firm medical insurance is offered by Forrest T. Jones & Company. This small firm coverage is true group insurance for firms of 2 to 50 employees. Various plan designs to choose from for you and your employees. Call Forrest T. Jones & Company today for enrollment information and compare this to your current health plan.

Term life insurance Up to $2,000,000 coverage at competitive rates. (Underwritten by Reliastar Life Insurance Co.)

• Example: A 34-year-old member can purchase $120,000 of coverage for only $57.60 semi-annually. Personal Cost information and a detailed brochure are available upon request.

• Apply up to age 75.

• Optional coverages, including disability waiver of premium, accidental death benefit and children's coverage.

Long term care insurance evaluation service A new service that evaluates a variety of excellent plan options from several insurance companies to provide the coverage that best fits your long term care funding needs. Premium discounts are available for members and immediate family.

Auto and homeowners insurance As an JCBA member, you may be eligible for auto and homeowners insurance at a preferred group rate. In addition, you also may be eligible for a number of policy discounts, including a discount for insuring both your auto and home, for even greater savings.
